Book Groups

Our Mystic, Connecticut, area boasts numerous book groups with eclectic reading tastes. Book group purchases at Bank Square Books receive a 10% discount.

Evening Adult Reading Circle

The bookstore's own reading group, the Evening Adult Reading Circle, meets at Bank Square Books in downtown Mystic, CT at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from January through October. Newcomers are always welcome.

The 2010 reading list for the Evening Adult Reading Circle includes:

• January 12: The Given Day, by Dennis Lehane
• February 9: The Spies of Warsaw, by Alan Furst
• March 9: To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee
• April 13: The Good Thief, by Hannah Tinti
• May 11: Passionate Nomad: The Life of Freya Stark, by Jane Fletcher Geniesse

The balance of the list will be chosen in April.
